About Me

I’m Tyrone Osbourne, a psychodynamic psychotherapist with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s complexities and deepen their self-awareness. My professional journey began in education, substance misuse services, and the HM Prison Service, where I developed a profound understanding of human behavior across diverse and challenging environments.

In 2012, I established Osborne Therapy, a private practice in central London. Here, I offer a safe and compassionate space for individuals to explore their emotions and life stories. My work is grounded in psychodynamic principles, focusing on uncovering unconscious patterns and understanding how early experiences shape current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

I hold advanced qualifications from Roehampton University:

  • Certificate in Counselling (2006)

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Practice (2006–2010)

  • MA in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice (2016-2018)

As a member of BACP, UKCP, and FPC, I am committed to ongoing professional development and upholding the highest ethical standards in my practice.

I specialise in supporting individuals who:

  • Feel disconnected or overwhelmed by life’s challenges

  • Seek a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships

  • Are exploring issues related to identity or vulnerability

  • Have experienced trauma or adverse childhood experiences

My background includes extensive work with vulnerable populations in community mental health services, drug and alcohol services, and prison rehabilitation. These experiences inform my therapeutic approach, ensuring it is both empathetic and robust. Through Osborne Therapy, I provide a confidential and supportive environment where you can reflect, process, and grow in meaningful ways.

If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or a sense of being “stuck,” I believe therapy can be a transformative experience. By creating a safe and containing space, I help clients explore the emotional roots of their challenges and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
